ABOUT VEGANISM!

HOW WE USE OUR VEGAN DIET FOR PROTEST TO BOCOITAR AND FIGHT WITH DEATH OF EMPIRE AND KILLED THAT ABUSE ANIMALS!

Veganism is a philosophy of life motivated by ethical convictions based on animal rights, seeking to avoid exploitation and abuse of them through activities and the boycott of products deemed especistas.Etimologia

The English term vegan (pronounced vigan) was established in 1944, a meeting organized by Donald Watson (1910-2005) involving 6 people (after disaffiliate themselves from The Vegetarian Society for ideological differences), where it was decided to create a new society (The Vegan Society) and adopt a new term to define themselves. [1]

It is a corruption of the word "vegetarian", which consider the first 3 letters and the last 2 to form the word vegan. [1]

In Portuguese we consider the first three and last three letters (vegetarian), the formation of the term vegan (smsupporter of veganism - fem. vegan). It has been vegan also used the term to refer to supporters of veganism.
[Edit] Ideology

Vegans boycott any product of animal origin (food or otherwise), and products that have been tested on animals or include any possible form of animal exploitation in their ingredients or manufacturing processes.

For a vegan, there are no animals to humans, as well as there is no black or white for the woman to the man. Each animal's owner of his own life, thus having the right not to be treated as property (ornament, entertainment, food, guinea pig, merchandise, etc.). So vegans propose an analogy between speciesism, racism, sexism and other forms of prejudice and discrimination.

Prefer to use the terms "non-human animals" or "sentient beings" rather than "irrational."

Very important to distance the ideology vegan vegetarian diet. Veganism is not diet, but an ideology based on animal rights, and fighting for their inclusion in society.
[Edit] Clothing, ornaments, etc.

Articles in furs, leather, wool, silk, suede or other materials of animal origin (such as ornaments of beads, feathers, feathers, bones, hair, ivory, etc.) are unsuccessful, entailing the death and / or exploitation of animals they originated. Thus, a vegan dresses in fabrics of vegetable origin (cotton, linen, etc.) or synthetic (polyester, etc.).
[Edit] Food

They are strict vegetarians, or exclude from your diet meat, gelatin, dairy, eggs, honey [2] [3] [4] and any foods of animal origin. Basically consume cereals, fruits, vegetables, vegetable, vegetables, seaweed, mushrooms and any product, industrialized or not, since that does not contain any ingredients of animal origin.
[Edit] Drugs, cosmetics, hygiene and cleaning

Avoid the use of drugs, cosmetics and hygiene products and cleaning have been tested on animals. Does not take vaccines and serums, but may violate the principles vegan when alternatives are not available, or in case of emergency or urgency. Some opt for herbal medicine, homeopathy or any alternative treatment.

The vegan advocates the emergence of alternatives to laboratory experiments, such as in vitro, tissue culture and computational models.

They are released from the vegan community long lists of brands and companies of cosmetics and cleaning products and toiletries not tested on animals.
[Edit] Entertainment

Animal circuses, rodeos, rodeos, bullfights, and zoos are also boycotted because they imply slavery, ownership, shifting the animal from its natural habitat, deprived of its customs and communities, training forcible and suffering.

Do not hunt, do not promote any kind of fishing, and boycott any "sport" involving non-human animals. Many follow the principle of political non-violence.
[Edit] World Vegan Day

The 1st of November is marked by World Vegan Day ("World Vegan Day" in English), which is celebrated since 1994, when the Vegan Society in England celebrated 50 years of creation.

In 2004 the event marked the 60th anniversary of the society, and the 10th Birthday
